These last few weeks we have been learning about food.

First of all, we have studied a lot of vocabulary related to food using the structure : "THIS IS..."

Once we know the vocabulary and the group that belongs to, we have discovered that not all the groups can be eaten with the same frequency. For example, UNHEALTHY FOOD like chocolate or sweets can only be eaten twice a week. However, CEREALS, FRUITS or VEGETABLES can be eaten more than 3 times a day. Also, each group has a colour and a position in the food pyramid according to the frequency that we can eat it.


Finally, we have searched for different pictures of food in  magazines and stuck them onto a food pyramid to have a more visual understanding.
